What is RENO ENVY?

RENO ENVY is a reflection of Reno’s past, present and future. Reno’s history is deeply rooted in what some would characterize as sin and debauchery.

Beginning in the late 1800’s, Reno was renowned as the divorce capital of the nation and has since racked up many more notable “honors” (distinctions), such as legalized prostitution (just over the county line), gambling and a 24-hour nightlife. Although there are people who disapprove of the seedy side of Reno’s past, there are many who hail this great city as a city of freedom, a city where the call of the wild west still can be heard, and many answer. These folks truly have RENO ENVY.

While still proud of its’ white trash history, which has been glamorized by TV’s Reno 911 police force, Reno has made great strides in the last decade in redefining itself.  Reno has been recognized as one of the best places to live and raise a family in the United States due to a strong economy, excellent infrastructure, great employment opportunities, affordable housing, outstanding school system, low taxes, exciting community events, unsurpassed natural beauty, and a comfortable four season climate.

Don’t be alarmed though. There are still plenty of crack shacks, trailer parks and bitchin’ Cameros on wooden blocks to keep the heart and soul of retro Reno alive.
